Unaccountable-looking characters, gargoyle-looking gals, scarecrows, stragglers–and Bob Dylan

Chronicles, the first edition of Bob Dylan's biography, will be in stores Oct. 5 (not Oct. 12, as originally reported). Newsweek has published an excerpt in this week's issue.

Based on the short excerpt, I'm definitely looking forward to the book. The writing is very Bob: personal, discordant, intellectual, and slightly mad in only the best sort of way.
