First Dylan art show to be held in Germany

AFP reports:

"Rock legend Bob Dylan will open the first-ever museum exhibition of his paintings in a city in the former east Germany, the Chemnitz Art Collections museum said Wednesday.

The three-month show called 'The Drawn Blank Series' will begin October 28 and feature more than 200 paintings based on drawings and sketches Dylan published in a book titled 'Drawn Blank' in 1994.

The new paintings will hang among works by European masters including Picasso, Munch and Toulouse-Lautrec, Anja Richter of the museum told AFP."
